Privacy Policy (English)
This is the English version of the CONSULINS Privacy Policy. Where the Korean text and this English text differ, the Korean text (https://consulins.com/privacy) governs.
Korean version v1.1.2 · Effective date: 22 September 2026
Information we collect
We collect only the minimum information, with consent: email, hashed password and name or nickname at sign-up; email, name and social account ID when you use Kakao, Naver or Google login; payment method type, date, amount and approval number when you pay (card and account numbers are handled by NICEpay and not stored by us); qualification or business details when an Expert or business joins; and usage records, IP address, device information and cookies collected automatically. Values you are still typing before you run an analysis are not stored on our servers. The text you enter is not used to train AI models without your separate consent. (Article 1)
Why we use it
We use personal information to manage membership, provide the service, process payments, handle support requests, improve the service with anonymised statistics, keep the service secure, verify Expert qualifications, and publish Shorts videos or create your own voice at your request. (Article 2)
Service providers
We entrust some processing to service providers, such as payment, email delivery, database and authentication, hosting and error monitoring. We sign a data processing agreement with each provider. The current list of providers is in Article 3 of the Korean text. (Article 3)
Sharing with third parties
We do not provide personal information to third parties as a rule. When you use expert connection, and only after you agree on a consent screen, your name or nickname, email and request (including documents and AI results you attach) are provided to the expert you chose. You can refuse; only expert connection is then unavailable. (Article 3-2)
Connecting YouTube, Instagram and TikTok
If you connect a YouTube, Instagram or TikTok account, we collect and keep the access token and refresh token issued by that service, along with the channel or account identifier, name and profile image. Tokens are stored encrypted for each member (Supabase Vault). This information is used only for the posting, scheduled posting, connection status and channel analysis you request, and is not provided to third parties or used for advertising. When you disconnect, the token is deleted immediately, and posting records (date and time, channel and video identifier) are kept for 90 days and then destroyed. (Article 3-3)
Transfers outside Korea
To provide the service, some information is transferred to providers outside Korea (for example AI API providers) over encrypted HTTPS/TLS connections when you use the service. You can refuse the transfer by writing to support@consulins.com, but the AI analysis service then cannot be used. (Article 4)
How long we keep it
Personal information is destroyed without delay once its purpose is achieved. After you withdraw, it is kept for 30 days. Where Korean law requires it, records are kept longer — for example, contract and payment records for 5 years, complaint records for 3 years and access logs for 3 months. SNS connection tokens are destroyed as soon as you disconnect. (Article 5)
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal information, ask us to stop processing it, and withdraw consent to AI training. Requests can be made in the personal information menu in the service or by writing to support@consulins.com, and we reply within 10 days. (Article 6)
Contact
Privacy officer: 김현석 (Representative), admin@consulins.com. Privacy questions: Customer Support, support@consulins.com. (Article 10)
Changes to this policy
Changes are announced in the service notices and by email at least 7 days before they take effect, or at least 30 days before for significant changes such as new items or purposes. (Article 11)
